Welcome back to Don't Forget the Art! It has been a while...too long, in fact, since we have arted together. And I am super excited and ready to get back into the creative flow.
This week's project inspiration came from here. I thought this would be a fun and simple project to get us back into the swing of things and getting some art going in our homes and homeschools.
There are a few supplies you will need for this project. They are:
- ink or magic marker
- card stock or paper
- scanner or camera (phones will work)
- computer and printer
- typing paper
- sketch paper
- pencil
- pencil sharpener
- eraser
- painter's tape (washi or masking tape will work, too)
- Sharpie markers, ultra fine (or pencil, ink pens, colored pencils, etc)

This project is going to be a fun way to get those creative juices flowing as well as providing a fun self-portrait - a little snippet into who you are and where you are in life right now. I hope you enjoy this project. Looking forward to an amazing school year filled with lots of amazing art. Happy arting, all!
I love your introduction! Can't wait to do this one with the kids!
